Review and Swatches: MAC All That Glitters Eye Shadow

Hello Lovelies!

Today I'm going to be doing a review on the "All That Glitters" eye shadow by MAC.

This product retails for $14.50 USD in the pot or $11.50 in just the pan by itself. Personally I prefer the pan because you don't have to depot and you save money.

You've probably heard about this eye shadow already. Pratically   everyone and their mother has tried it.

MAC describes this color as a "Beige with gold pearl" They describe it better than I do. I'd probably say a "Champagne-y, Pink-y, Gold-y color" 

The finish is a Veluxe Pearl. It's very pigmented and if you're going to MAC for the first time and don't know what to get, try buying "All That Glitters" and can be hard going to MAC for the first time because they're are so many options. I recommend this because I think it looks beautiful on all skin tones, so it's very versatile.

I use this as a lid color AND as an inner corner highlight. I love using it as a highlight, I'm very fair and I just think it looks gorgeous. It applies very smooth and you can use it wet or dry. Overall I give this a 10 our of 10. I will always purchase it. I love it!

Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV

Hey guys! (: Sorry I haven't been on in a while, I didn't know what to post. Today I'm going to be talking about the Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV. Again, I do not own this product but I plan on buying sometime within January! \

This palette comes with 16 shadows, 10 new, 6 permanent. Full size 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, Travel Size Primer Potion & Travel Size Super Curl mascara. 

Here are the eye shadows left to right:

Row 1: Blue Bus, Gunmetal, Cobra, Baked

Row 2: Bender, Gravity, Lost, Hijack

Row 3: Midnight Cowgirl, Sin, Midnight Rodeo, Crystal

Row 4: Bust, Missionary, Skimp, Zephyr.

There is also a USB port included so you can download 5 how-to videos, or you can scan 5 QR (quick response) codes to get the videos on your phone. It also includes a speaker so you can plug your iPod/MP3 player and listen to music.

The packaging is just adorable, when you life of the flap, they have butterflies popping out.

The eye shadows are all shimmery/glittery. Some are the eye shadows aren't too promising. I'm kind of disappointed in Urban Decay. This perfect for travel because it offers you everything you need to do your eye makeup at home or on the go.

Presents and Cookies.

It's Christmas Eve and I just woke up. (: I can't wait to open presents! It's around 6 o'clock. I don't plan on waking anyone up just so I can open my presents though. I don't know why, I've just never been one to do that. I'm going to make so many freaking cookies today though before I go to my Dad's house! I want to make Gingerbread, Snickerdoodle, and Sugar cookies. Snickerdoodles are my favorites. :3 Well I hope you all enjoy your holidays and tell me how it was!

Product of the Week

POTW!

When I was thinking about which product I would choose, I choose one that I've been loving a lot and using everyday! This is the E.L.F or Eyes Lips Face, Studio Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder. This retails for $3. The only stores I've seen E.L.F in is Walgreens, Kmart, and Target. A lot of people claim this is a dupe for the NARS Orgasm/Laguna duo, but I'm not sure. I don't own    the duo but I have swatched the blush and bronzer at Sephora. I think the blush in this duo is more like NAR's Deepthroat rather than Orgasm. I do think the bronzer is pretty close, if not excactly like Laguna. Overall I really LOVE this duo and I use it everytime I apply my makeup.
